6th International Cash Conference on Cash and the Future of Money

The Deutsche Bundesbank hosted its sixth International Cash Conference in Bad Homburg, Germany, from 12 to 14 September 2023. The overarching topic for the conference was “Cash and the Future of Money”.

Experts from academia, public authorities (including central banks), special interest groups and the private sector were invited to present their cash-related research papers. The programme was headed by high-level keynote speakers. Please understand that the conference formed a protected scientific environment and therefore took place under the exclusion of the press.

The event started with a welcome reception on the evening of 11 September 2023, and continued from 12 to 14 September 2023 with lectures and discussions. The conference was held in English; all information and conference content was thus available in English only. Conference participation was free of charge.

Please note that the number of participants was limited and that places were allocated depending on availability.
