7th International Cash Conference

The Deutsche Bundesbank will host its 7th International Cash Conference in Hannover, Germany, from 27 to 29 May 2026.

Experts from academia, public authorities (including central banks), special interest groups and the private sector are invited to present their cash-related research papers. The programme will be headed by high-level keynote speakers. Please understand that the conference forms a protected scientific environment and therefore takes place under the exclusion of the press.

The event will commence with a welcome reception on the evening of 26 May 2026, and will continue from 27 to 29 May 2026 with lectures and discussions. The conference will be held in English: all information and conference content will thus be available in English only. Conference participation is free of charge.

Please note that the number of participants is limited and that places will be allocated depending on availability. Participation in the conference is hence conditional upon receiving written confirmation from the Deutsche Bundesbank after successfully registering your interest. Only written confirmation will allow access to all sessions and include any conference material.
